CHATHAM – Chatham Fire and Harbormaster along with the Coast Guard responded after a vessel with 8 people on boat grounded on the cut at the entrance to Chatham Harbor around 5 PM Saturday. All of the victims including some children were wearing life jackets and no injuries were reported. They were offloaded onto the the Coast Guard and fire department vessels and brought to shore. Further details were not immediately available.
