Accused killer of Yarmouth K9 Sgt. Sean Gannon arraigned in court

YARMOUTH – The accused killer of Yarmouth Police K9 Sgt. Sean Gannon was arraigned in Barnstable Superior Court Friday morning. Thomas M. Latonowich pleaded not guilty and is due back in court for a pre-trial conference on November 30th.

On April 12th of this year, Latonowich is alleged to have opened fire on Sgt. Gannon as police tried to arrest Latonwich on warrants at a house on Blueberry Lane in Marstons Mills. Sgt. Gannon was fatally wounded. His K9 partner Nero was seriously injured and continues to recover.
