YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 5:32 PM, Patrol Officer Jeff Rivett observed a suspicious green Ford Escape parked unattended in the lot at the Flax Pond Recreation Area in South Yarmouth.
A check of the vehicle registration found it to be stolen from a woman in Provincetown.
The vehicle was processed for fingerprints and other evidence by members of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit and will be returned to its owner ASAP.
