Arrest made in Yarmouth storage facility break-in

morrissamanthasYARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on n June 9, 2016, they began an investigation involving a break-in at the Lockup Storage Facility at 251 White’s Path in South Yarmouth.

Yarmouth Police Detectives David Schneeweis and Scott Lundegren reviewed the surveillance videos which led to the identity of the suspect—who is known to law enforcement—and is depicted in the video committing the break-in and theft.

On Tuesday, at 4:30 p.m., the suspect, Samantha S. Morris, 26, of West Yarmouth came in to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters for an interview and was subsequently placed under arrest. Morris was charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, larceny over $250, and malicious destruction of property.

Morris was due to be arraigned in the Barnstable District Court Wednesday.
