Barnstable Police take part in “Movember” movement

HYANNIS – Due to interest and in the spirit of fundraising, the Barnstable Police Department is participating in Movember/No Shave November.

For the month of November, facial hair restrictions were waived to allow a mustache to be grown.

In recognition of Movember and men’s health issues, Barnstable Police Officers are being allowed to grow a mustache for the month of November in exchange for a $100 donation to the Home Base Program or the Movember Foundation.
