B&E seminar slated for Wednesday in Brewster

BREWSTER – This seminar on Breaking & Entering will be presented by two of Cape Cod’s “professional” house breakers — and a guy who helped nab them. You’ll hear first, via specially produced video, from two men who have committed dozens of recent home breaks on the Cape.  They’ll be on tape because when it was filmed nine months ago they were doing time at the county jail in Bourne.  Out of business then.  Back on the street now.

Up next will be Matt Smith, who currently runs the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) in Barnstable Village.  Working closely with Brewster police and under the direction of Sheriff Jim Cummings, a former State Police detective, Smith will explain the forensics utilized to bring home breakers and other burglars to justice.

The seminar will be held on Wednesday, November 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at  EPOCH Senior Living Center,  855 Harwich Road, Brewster, Massachusetts.
