Updated: Two bike vs pedestrian crashes in Ptown

PROVINCETOWN
– A  bike vs pedestrian was reported on busy Commercial Street in Provincetown. It happened on the downtown stretch between Ryder and Gosnold Streets Tuesday afternoon. The pedestrian was evaluated for facial injuries. About an hour later, another pedestrian was reportedly hit by a bike about a block east on Commercial Street between Standish and Ryder Streets. As seen above, the pedestrian suffered a head injury and was put in a collar and on a backboard for transport to Cape Cod Hospital. Both incidents are under investigation.

Meanwhile, Bourne rescuers were called to a bike accident on the trail off MacArthur Boulevard around 4 p.m. The victim reportedly suffered an ankle injury. Rescuers extricated the victim who was taken to a hospital.
