PROVINCETOWN – Provincetown Police and Fire departments were called out to the area of 676 Commercial Street Thursday early afternoon to deal with a blown transformer. Police reported that residents could experience power outages until Eversource could arrive on scene to fix the problem. Commercial Street was closed between Snail Road and the Bradford Street junction. The police updated that utility crews had repaired the problem and were restoring power to the town as of mid afternoon
