CHILMARK – A body was found at Memensha Beach in Chilmark on Martha’s Vineyard Sunday. The Coast Guard transported the victim by boat to Woods Hole. The station chief, Justin Lonval told local media it appeared the body had been in the water for an extended time. A spokeperson for the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s office would only say that State Police Detectives assigned to the D.A.’s and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office are still involved in the identification process.
