SANDWICH– Firefighters and the Coast Guard have recovered the body of a diver in Sandwich. Officials were called to Town Neck Road early Saturday afternoon after people noticed the diving line was not moving. Fire department divers recovered the victim later identified by the D.A.s office as 55-year-old Michael Dearth of Orleans. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death. The incident is under investigation but foul play is not suspected.
