FALMOUTH – The Mass Department of Fire Services (DFS) reports that the State Police Bomb Squad responded to Sandwich Road in Falmouth for what turned out to be an inert WWII era piece of military ordnance. They took it for later disposal. The DFS reports it posed no threat.
