Bourne, Onset respond to boat rescue

BOURNE – Bourne and Onset fire responded to a boat rescue off Wings Neck around 2 p.m. According to the Wareham Harbormaster, a large cabin cruiser struck Stony Point Dike. No one was injured in the accident however the vessel did sustain some heavy damage from the rocky impact. A commercial salvage company will attempt to remove the vessel at high tide Sunday night.
