Video: Two injured as fire breaks out in Harwich duplex

HARWICH
– Fire broke out in a home in Harwich about 8 p.m. Wednesday. Fire crews arriving at 253 Oak Street found fire showing from one side of the duplex structure.

One person was reportedly rescued and transported to Cape Cod Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. A second person was also being evaluated.

Mutual aid from Brewster, Chatham and Dennis was called to the scene. The fire was knocked down in about 30 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
