BARNSTABLE – Firefighters were called to a house fire in Barnstable at 164 Millway about 9:30 PM. A 2nd alarm was struck on arrival and the fire eventually went to three alarms. Mutual aid from several departments was called in. One person was removed from the building and rushed to Cape Cod Hospital but later succumbed to their injurues. The State Fire Marhsal’s office was requested to investigate the cause of the fire. The later reported the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
