TRURO – A fishing vessel radioed the Coast Guard about 3 PM Sunday reporting a crew member was missing and feared overboard. The last known position was off in the ocean off Highland Light. Vessels in the area received an urgent alert to assist in the search as the Coast Guard responded assets. We’ll bring you further details as we get them.
Update: About 3:30 PM, The vessel involved reported they had located the crew member and pulled them aboard. Initial reports indicated the victim was in good condition. The vessel was reportedly out of Portland, ME.
