House fire in Falmouth

FALMOUTH – Falmouth Fire Rescue was called to a structure fire at 2 Wyoming Avenue about 6:15 p.m. The fire appeared to have started in the basement and then extended to the first floor. Mutual aid from Bourne, Mashpee and Joint Base Cape Cod covered the Falmouth fire stations. The fire was completely under control just after 7:30 p.m. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
