TRURO – A major crash closed Route 6 in Truro for some time Thursday evening. Sometime after 9 p.m. two vehicles collided head-on on Route 6 at Arrowhead Road. Five injuries were reported. MedFlight was requested but not available due to weather. At least one person had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life. Ambulances from Provincetown, Wellfleet, Eastham and Orleans responded to the scene.
Truro Police requested crash reconstruction to the scene to investigate.
Traffic was rerouted around the scene from Standish Way to Stotts Crossing onto Shore Road (Route 6A).
