EASTHAM – Eastham Fire-Rescue officials called for a MedFlight helicopter to meet them at Barnstable Municipal Airport. According to reports, a man sufffered a possible spinal injury while in the water at Nauset Light Beach around 2 p.m. U.S. Park Rangers are investigating the incident. Further details were not immediately available.

If the patient needed MedFlight, why would they travel all the way to Hyannis when the Nauset High School 1 mile away is a perfectly viable landing sight? Their action doesn’t compute!
