PLYMOUTH – Bourne Police are confirming one person is dead after a rollover crash on Route 25 eastbound in Plymouth about 12:20 p.m.

State Police say three people were reportedly ejected from a Freightliner truck headed westbound that went into the median and rolled over at mile marker 7.

Multiple ambulances from Bourne and Wareham were also requested to the scene.

A MedFlight helicopter was requested to land at the State Police Barracks at the Bourne Bridge for one of the victims.

The deceased victim was later identified as Timothy Feeley, 47, of North Reading.

Traffic eastbound was at a standstill and westbound was also heavily backed up so motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

State Police say that while the cause of this crash remains under investigation with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, State Police Crime Scene Services Section, State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section, and members assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, it is believed that one of the truck’s tires might have rapidly lost air, possibly contributing to the cause of the crash. No charges have been filed at this time..
