SANDWICH – At least five people were injured in a crash in Sandwich around 6 p.m. The crash happened on Route 130 at the exit 2 ramp to Route 6. A mass casualty incident (MCI) was declared bringing several ambulances to the scene. Some of the injuries were described as serious but not life threatening. Sandwich Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
