MASHPEE – Two people were injured, one seriously in a reported Jet-Ski accident in Mashpee sometime after 1:30 PM. The incident happened off Coast Guard Beach at John’s Pond. Good Samaritans brought the victims to shore on Cranberry Avenue. Rescuers then took a female victim to the Mashpee Police/Fire headquarters to meet a MedFlight helicopter for transport to a trauma center. The second victim was taken to Falmouth Hospital. The incident is under investigation by Mass Environmental Police and Mashpee Police. Further details were not immediately available.
