SANDWICH – Two people were trapped after a head-on crash in Sandwich. The crash happened about 9:45 p.m. Friday evening on Route 6A at Tupper Road. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free the occupants. MedFlight was not available. Both victims were taken to South Shore Hospital trauma center in Weymouth. Route 6A was closed in the area. The crash is under investigation by Sandwich Police.
