Walkway to Breakwater Beach in Brewster
BREWSTER – A 75-year-old woman who was rescued from Breakwater Beach in Brewster Tuesday has died.
Brewster Fire and Rescue responded to a reported drowning shortly after 2 p.m.
Brewster Police Chief Richard Koch said Patricia Paolini of Brewster was pronounced dead at Cape Cod Hospital.
Brewster Fire Chief Robert Moran said that on arrival, a bystander was performing CPR on the woman.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were under investigation by State Police and the state medical examiner’s office.
