FALMOUTH – Falmouth Fire/Rescue reports that Monday morning, E23, E24, E25 and L26 were dispatched to Royal Megansett Nursing Home for a report of a fire on the 3rd floor. A smoke condition was investigated, and units cleared after approx 30 mins. Shortly after clearing, E20, E21, E24 and L26 were dispatched to Puritan Clothing on Main Street for smoke in the building. An electrical issue was investigated and Main Street is now open to traffic.
It was clear if there may have been a power surge in Falmouth. Eversource’s outage map showed 34 customers without power Monday morning.
