Buzzards Bay man accused of A&B in Yarmouth

Frank Joseph Fagone

YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Tuesday at 10:12 AM, numerous Yarmouth Police Officers—with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police and Barnstable Police—were dispatched to room 120 at the Econolodge at 59 Route 28 for a violent disturbance.

Police Officers determined two people had argued over continued drug use.

The argument led to violence and damage to hotel property.

In addition, Yarmouth Police Officers noticed that there were sandwich bags, rubber gloves, and cutting agent (B1 capsules) on one of the beds. These items are consistent with the distribution of narcotics.

Police Officers were then confronted by several males who were in the immediate area, all with criminal records and well known to Cape Cod Law Enforcement.

Yarmouth Police Officers subsequently arrested Frank Joseph Fagone, 34, of Buzzards Bay, for Assault and Battery which had occurred in the room during the argument.

A pat frisk found a folding knife sticking out his front right pocket, an IPhone and a large bundle of cash. All items were seized and held as evidence.

At Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters, Fagone—who has 68 priors on his Massachusetts Criminal record—was processed and eventually transported to the Barnstable District Court for arraignment.
