YARMOUTH PORT – A car reportedly crashed into a building in Yarmouth Port about 2:20 PM Tuesday afternoon. The crash happened at the Sunflower Market Place. The driver was taken to Cape Cod Hospitat for evaluation. A building inspector was called to check the damage. According to reports, a Toyota Camry was leaving the parking lot of Peterson’s Market across the street. The vehicle apparently failed to make a turn in the parking lot continued over a lawn struck a sign, then crossed over Route 6A across another lawn, through afence, hitting the side of a tree and then struck the Sunflower Market Place building. Yarmouth Police are investigating the crash. available.
