BARNSTABLE – Two separate crashes Wednesday afternoon left one vehicle in a ditch, and a large tree in the road at the second crash.
The first crash happened just after 5:30 p.m. in West Barnstable on Route 6A at High Street. The vehicle ended up in a ditch. The driver was not seriously injured.
The second crash happened about 15 minutes later in Marstons Mills on Cotuit Road (Route 149) at Hollidge Hill Road. A large tree came down completely blocking Route 149. The driver was not seriously injured. A Barnstable DPW crew was called to remove the tree.
Both crashes are under investigation by Barnstable Police
