BREWSTER – A car reportedly struck a utility pole and rolled on its roof in Brewster around 4:30 PM Wednesday afternoon. The crash happened on Main Street (Route 6A) at A P Newcomb Road. The female driver was able to get out of the Subaru Impreza and was taken to Cape Cod Hospital for evaluation. The pole was knocked down and Route 6A was expected to be closed in the area for some time until Eversource could replace the pole. The crash is under investigation by Brewster Police.
