YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth Police: On Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 6:55 PM, the Yarmouth Police Department and Yarmouth Fire Department were dispatched to the area of Station Avenue and Studley Road for a motor vehicle crash. The caller reported a single motor vehicle crash involving a truck and a telephone pole.
The operator, identified as Scott Callachan age 61, from West Yarmouth was transported to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Based on witness accounts and evidence at the scene officers issued Callachan a criminal citation for the following offenses:
OUI Alcohol
Negligent Operation of Motor Vehicle
Marked Lanes Violation
