HARWICH – A car struck a utility pole in Harwich around 12:15 a.m. The crash happened on Route 28 at Depot Road West. The pole was left across the roadway closing Route 28, requiring a response from Eversource. The extent of injuries was not immediately clear. The crash is under investigation by Harwich Police.
