Car vs pole in Mashpee

MASHPEE – A car struck a utility pole in Mashpee around 9 AM Wednesday. The crash happened on Route 130 at Great Neck Road North. Firefighters had to extricate the driver from the a receiver The victim was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Utility crews were expected to be working for several hours to replace the pole. The crash is under investigation by Mashpee Police. A handful of electric customers in the immediate area lost power.
