YARMOUTH – A car and school bus collided in Yarmouth around 4:15 p.m. The crash happened on Setucket Road at Mayfair Road on the Dennis town line.
There were 17 children on the bus and there were no injuries. The driver of the Dodge Dakota pickup was also not injured.
Most parents picked up their children at the scene while a few were taken to the Yarmouth Fire station 2 just down the road to wait for their parents.
Traffic on Setucket Road was backed up in both directions until the scene was cleared. Yarmouth police are investigating the crash.
