EASTHAM – Eastham rescuers were called to Coast Guard Beach after a report of a person with a cardiac condition about 3 PM. The victim was located way down at the south end of the beach area along the marsh. Paramedics reached the scene on foot and National Park ATV. A boat from Orleans was called which transported the victim through the inlet to the town landing by Goose Hummock in Orleans where an ambulance was waiting to transport the victim to Cape Cod Hospital.
