Centerville man arrested for trafficking heroin in Barnstable


CENTERVILLE
– Mass State Police report that early Thursday morning, at approximately 2:06 AM, Trooper Edward Alldredge of the South Yarmouth Barracks stopped a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze for motor vehicle violations.

As a result of an investigation, the driver, identified as Nicholas A. Hubbard, 37, of Centerville, was found to be in possession of approximately 124 grams of heroin, 6 grams of cocaine, and a half-pill of Xanax. Hubbard was placed under arrest and brought to the South Yarmouth Barracks for booking.

He was charged with the following:
1. Possess to distribute Class A drug (Heroin)
2. Possess to distribute Class B drug (Cocaine)
3. Possess Class C drug (Xanax)
4. Trafficking in Heroin/Morphine/Opium

Barnstable Police Officers Pizaia and Melia also assisted during the traffic stop. Hubbard was issued a civil citation for the motor vehicle violations.

He was held on $10,000 bail, pending arraignment Thursday morning in Barnstable District Court.
