Children present when three adults arrested in Yarmouth for heroin and cocaine

SOUTH YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Police Department reports that on Friday, May 26, at approximately 9:18 p.m., members of the department’s patrol force and detective division responded to 1011 Alewife Circle in South Yarmouth regarding a phoned-in report of people overdosing on heroin and cocaine.

Police officers were able to enter the apartment and locate three adults in the residence as well as 5 grams of heroin, 3 grams of cocaine, digital scales and other related evidence of illegal drug use and distribution.

The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families was contacted due to young children being present in the apartment and the children were brought to a safe location.

All three adults were placed under arrest and transported to Yarmouth Police Department headquarters. They are scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in the Barnstable District Court on the following charges:

Nicholas Paul Beach, 24, of West Yarmouth (photo top left): possession to distribute Class A heroin, possession to distribute Class B cocaine, conspiracy to violate the Massachusetts drug laws.

Tessa K. West, 21, of Eastham (photo top center): knowingly being present where heroin is kept, conspiracy to violate the Massachusetts drug laws.

Robert E. Clark, 36, of South Yarmouth (photo top right): knowingly being present where heroin is kept
