Children “Shop With A Cop” across Cape Cod

Many police departments across the Cape took part in the annual “Shop With A Cop” event for kids going Back to School:

PROVINCETOWN – Today Police Officers Jason Sullivan and Tyler Dow joined other police officers from Cape Cod and brought two deserving Provincetown School students back to school shopping.

8th Grader Danny Turner and 8th Grader Jamar Afflick each received a special pizza lunch and a backpack filled with school supplies. They ended the afternoon by each going on a $125 back to school shopping spree at Old Navy as part of the 6th annual Back to School Shop with a Cop event.

This event was support by a monetary donation from the Provincetown Police Association.

WELLFLEET – Wednesday Wellfleet PD joined our fellow law enforcement partners in the annual Shop With a Cop; Back to School event (This has become one of our favorite cape wide event).

Police Officers from across the cape pick up the lucky students and head to Yarmouth & Barnstable for some lunch and the ability to get some shopping in.

The students are given a free lunch and a gift card for the shopping experience.

We would like to thank the Wellfleet Police Relief Association for sponsoring our attendees.

EASTHAM – Ofc. Carrie DeAngelo with one of the lucky kids:
HARWICH – The Harwich Police Department participated in the annual “Back to School Shop With a Cop” program today. Police officers from across Cape Cod gathered to host students for a day of lunch and shopping. Each student also received a backpack filled with school supplies.

Through this program, students not only get the supplies they need, but also have the opportunity to spend the day with police officers.
Building trust and strong community partnerships between students, their families and police officers is our goal in helping to empower students to succeed in school and develop good decision making skills.

We would like to thank the community and Harwich Police Association for their generous donations in helping to support this wonderful program.

YARMOUTH – Students and Cops from all over Cape Cod…

Each deserving student enjoyed lunch, a Backpack full of School supplies, and $150 to spend on clothes.

We had a blast!!!

Have a GREAT School Year Everybody!”

BARNSTABLE – Officer Brain Morrison and Detective Reid Hall were out representing the BPD today.

MASHPEE –
