EASTHAM – On Tuesday September 8, 2015 and continuing for ten weeks, the Eastham Police will be conducting its 7th session of their Citizen Police Academy at the Police facility on State Highway. Those residents participating will be introduced to all phases of the Police profession as well as the Criminal Justice System.
Beginning in week one with the History of the Police Department and the administration of the department, the academy will explore such things as Constitutional Law issues, Police Patrol and its function, Criminal investigations and Specialty units and Use of Force and Firearms, just to name a few of the topic areas.
