CHATHAM – There was a collision at sea off Chatham Saturday morning. The U.S. Coast Guard tells Cape Wide News that the collision this morning between the 40-foot fishing vessel Great Pumpkin and the 38-foot vessel Artemis II occurred at 6:20 a.m. There were no injuries. The seven people who were on the Artemis II were brought to the Chatham Fish Pier by the Great Pumpkin. Artemis II sunk in 90 feet of water and is marked with an orange buoy. The plan to salvage the boat is pending.
