CHATHAM – Around 3:39 p.m. Friday Chatham Police and Chatham Fire Rescue responded to the intersection of Orleans Road (Route 28) and Fox Hill Road for a motor-vehicle crash.
A motorcycle operated by Jerome Pendleton, 65, from West Yarmouth was traveling north on Orleans Road and struck a vehicle operated by David Schrader, 67, from Sandwich, who was crossing Orleans Road to Fox Hill Road.
Mr. Pendleton suffered minor injuries and was transported to Cape Cod Hospital. The vehicle operator, Mr. Schrader was not injured.
The crash is under investigation and motor vehicle charges are expected against the vehicle operator.
