DENNIS – A traffic crash closed a section of Route 28 in Dennis Port late Sunday evening. According to reports, a vehicle struck a parked vehicle and also caused damage to a building. Traffic on Route 28 was closed between Upper County Road and Depot Street. The driver was evaluated for injuries that were not life-threatening. A building inspector was called to check the damage to the structure.
Just before 11 PM another crash was reported on Route 28 in front of Holiday Hill Ice Cream. One person was evaluated for unknown injuries. Route 28 was closed in the area until the scene was cleared. Dennis Police are investigating both crashes.
