HYANNIS – A two-vehicle crash late Saturday evening caused the traffic lights to malfunction at the busy intersection of Iyannough Road (Route 28) and Yarmouth Road in Hyannis. Despite heavy damage to the vehicles, no serious injuries were reported. The traffic lights went into a flash mode which means motorists should treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Barnstable Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
