YARMOUTH PORT – Just after 4: 30 Thursday afternoon there was a two-vehicle accident involving a Honda Odyssey minivan and a school bus on Route 6A at Railroad Avenue in Yarmouthport. The bus operated by the Sandwich Public School system had just dropped off the last child from Camp Lyndon in Sandwich operated by the YMCA. There were omly two aides on the bus along with the driver. There were no injuries to the occupants of the bus or the van. Route 6A was closed in both directions causing massive traffic backups into Barnstable Village past Mary Dunn Road. Yarmouth Police are investigating.
