YARMOUTH – A traffic crash on White’s Path sometime after 4:30 PM Thursday shut down the road. A 1 800 Got Junk? box truck struck a utility pole which was left dangling in the roadway. Crash reconstruction was called to the scene. 229 Eversource customers were left without power as a result of the crash.
From Yarmouth Fire: A motor vehicle crash occurred on White’s Path when a box truck struck a utility pole, bringing down three transformers. This created a cascading effect that downed power lines on Station Avenue, resulting in power outages throughout the area.
