UPDATED: Two-alarm structure fire reported in Truro

TRURO
– Firefighters were called to a reported structure fire in Truro sometime after 2:30 PM Monday afternoon. Crews were called to 1 Second Landing Way just past Corn Hill Beach. The fire went to two alarms bringing mutual aid from as far away as Orleans to the scene and to cover the Truro station. The fire was reported under control by 3:15 PM but required crews to pull down ceilings and to check for fire extension. One civilian was evaluated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
