UPDATED: Woman stranded by by incoming tide near West End Breakwater in Provincetown

PROVINCETOWN – A woman reportedly became stranded by the incoming tide in Provincetown around noon Wednesday. Rescuers were working up a plan to reach the woman who was inside the West End Breakwater in the Wood End Marsh area popular with clammers. The victim was on dry land with water all around here as the high astronomical tide came in. Provincetown Police and Fire along with Cape Cod National Seashore personnel and the Harbormaster were all on scene. The woman was eventually rescued and brought by boat to MacMillan Wharf to be evaluated.
