EDGARTOWN
– Thursday night the Edgartown Police and Fire departments responded to a structure fire at a multi-family home on Pennywise Path off Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road. Oak Bluffs Fire personnel were called to assist as well. Edgartown Police thank all of the volunteers who came out in the frigid conditions. Thankfully all of the residents were able to exit the house safely.

Unfortunately, a family pet was not able to make it out of the fire. Edgartown Police would like to thank the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard and specifically Lisa Hayes for the assistance they offered emergency responders.
