Dozens of Cape firefighters travel to Worcester for funeral of fallen brother

WORCESTER – Dozens of firefighters from Cape Cod joined thousands of their brothers traveling to Worcester for the funeral for fallen Worcester Lt. Jason Menard.

Lt. Menard and two comrades were searching for possible victims at a fire on Stockholm Street when they became trapped. Lt. Menard was able to help the other two members to safety but could not escape himself.

Lt. Menard leaves a wife and three children.
