TRURO – A Honda Ridgeline pickup collided with a utility pole in Truro around 2 PM Friday. The crash happened on Highland Road just before the South Highland Road intersection. The pole was snapped and an insulator broken off the crossarm. The driver was evaluated by EMTs and then detained by Truro Police. Police tell CWN Vincent A. Duarte, 41, of Truro was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, operating negligently to endanger and marked lanes violation. The crash remains under investigation.
