OAK BLUFFS – From Oak Bluffs Police: At about 5:30 a.m. this morning Oak Bluffs Police and Fire responded to a one car motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Alpine Avenue and Isaac Avenue. The involved vehicle, a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder, lost traction and rolled onto its side. Thankfully, the single occupant was uninjured, most likely because they were wearing a seatbelt. The roadways were quite slippery at the time of the crash. The operator was cited for failing to inspect the vehicle and speeding.
