COTUIT/MASHPEE – Firefighters had to extricate a driver after a two-vehicle crash about 10 AM Wednesday morning. The crash happened on Falmouth Road (Route 28) at the Cotuit/Mashpee line. Once extricated, the driver was taken to a hospital with injuries that were believed to be serious but not life-threatening. The other driver was treated and released. The cause of the crash, which caused traffic delays, is under investigation.
